Hello!
Now that we have been going for a couple of months and have our feet wet in our brand new world we are sitting back and taking a hard look at where we were and where we want to go.
As you can see I have chosen a new theme layout for this blog. I want it to be more than just an update/spotlight on sessions we have been working on. I want it to be about photography itself, I want to interact with you, get your feedback on topics and connect. I want to bring us and all together in one place. I will of course continue to blog about our shoots but I also want to talk about photography, our experiences, our struggles, our growth. I will occasionally vlog about different topics or just to give a quick update. I am even going to try to bring Lindsey into the blogging world and have her add her spin on topics with some posts. It will be fun and I hope you will join us through our journey. If there are any questions you have or want to know about anything specific please leave us comment anytime or shoot us an email and we will be happy to post about it!
We will be separating our Boudoir from our Custom Photography with 2 separate websites. We have come to love love love Boudoir and want to focus on it and bring it to the forefront with what we do. We will always continue to do Modern Portraits, Custom Shoots and Musicians but have found that we have a passion to offer Boudoir to women and couples alike. There is something about Boudoir that drives deep within us.
We will also be taking a good look at our branding. I have changed my “logo” it feels like a hundred times, I have used numerous fonts, I feel like I have changed the wording on my site every other day since it has been up. We are going to come up with two different but yet similar brands, one for our boudoir and one for our custom photography. We will also be reworking our pricing and packaging and offering an experience with every Boudoir Session.
We are ecstatic to take this time and revamp everything from the ground up. It’s almost like a rebirth is about to happen but this time we know what we are doing to an extent. ;) I would love to hear your input, your suggestions, your ideas if you have any!
